Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

Held in February. Includes auction, stock barns, and the country western greats in entertainment who appear during each rodeo performance. See the hundreds of trail riders who travel up to 200 miles along the old cattle trails to converge on Houston to kick off the Rodeo.

Mardi Gras at Galveston

Held in February. The whole city becomes alive with parades, costumes, food and fun in abundance.

Azalea Trail

Held in March. Enjoy the beauty and glory sponsored by the River Oaks Garden Club.

Dickens on the Strand in Galveston
